What to Expect

Light Travel hires only the best tour guides that are spiritually aware and professionally trained in Egyptology. Our Native Egyptian escort is with us during all scheduled sightseeing events. He/she will answer our questions, share with us the most important facts, and interpret the language, culture, and costumes. The group determines the schedule. This allows us to be spiritually guided and to take all the time necessary to touch, smell, and otherwise savor the Egyptian experiences.

As long as the group agrees, we can go and do as we are collectively guided. Changing the itinerary, although not done lightly, is possible when we collectively choose and agree upon the changes. (As an example, on a trip to Peru, the group decided to travel to Bolivia for a special day of adventure. . .and it was.) Magic is found in the spontaneity of the moment.

There is also lots of leisure time. This allows plenty of opportunity to explore Cairo or lay around and enjoy the hotel, markets, or relax in the shadow of the pyramids.

This journey is as much about inward discovery as it is about the outward exploration of Egypt. Each morning we begin with a special group processing. During these sessions you will be given special instructions for the day, process experiences, discuss lessons, interpret your dreams (and be prepared for important ones), and set goals. Spiritual messages and growth opportunities are presented both collectively and individually. Additional workshops and meetings are scheduled as appropriate for the group. Participation is mandatory. You will recognize the reason when you arrive in Cairo.
